Boston Bruins Czech forward David Pastrnak will join the national team for the 2025 World Championship, the official website of the Czech Ice Hockey Federation reported.
Earlier, in response to the offer to join the national team, the hockey player took a few days to think about it. He informed the team management about his decision today, April 28. It is noted that the forward will join the national team only after the Czech hockey games.
In the recently concluded regular season, Pastrnak scored 106 points (43 goals, 63 assists) in 82 games. Last year, the forward won a gold medal at the home world championship.
The 2025 World Cup will be held from May 9 to 25 in Sweden and Denmark.
