Real Madrid's press service has released a statement saying that central defender Antonio Rudiger has undergone surgery to repair a torn knee ligament. Los Blancos have not released any information on the player's recovery time.
This season, the 32-year-old Rudiger has played 49 games in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing one assist. The reputable online portal Transfermarkt estimates the defender's market value at 24 million euros. The German footballer's current contract with Real Madrid is scheduled to expire at the end of June 2026.
