Ararat-Armenia in the Cup Final

In the second leg of the semi-final round of the Armenian Cup, Vardan Minasyan's Ararat-Armenia managed to accomplish the task set before them, losing 0:2 at home.

Let us remind you that the first match ended with the same score. The "Black and Whites" also defeated the same opponent in the fight for the Hakob Tonoyan Super Cup (4:0).

The 46-year-old specialist made a forced substitution early in the match, replacing Wagner Gonçalves with Agdon Menezes. The match went into extra time, where the score remained unchanged. The fate of the finals was decided by a penalty shootout, where the goalkeeper of the current cup holder, Henry Avagyan, twice saved the ball after shots by Sergey Vakulenko and Taron Voskanyan. Thus, Ararat-Armenia qualified for the finals.
