The sixth-ranked player in the world, British player Jack Draper, has spoken about how actively he follows the matches of his favorite football club, Manchester United.
"I used to be more into the Premier League. I think, like in tennis, there's a feeling that there are too many matches or events to follow and, of course, with the different time zones, the constant travel, it's hard to keep up with the team. So I've calmed down a bit, following it all the time. "Maybe the fact that Manchester United aren't doing so well at the moment is also one of the reasons," Draper said at a press conference for the tournament in Madrid.
Manchester United have not won the Premier League since 2013. This season, the team is in 14th place in the standings, having scored 39 points from 34 games. In the Europa League, Ruben Amorim's team will play against Spanish side Athletic Bilbao in the semi-finals.
