Real Madrid have reached an agreement to sign Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold on a five-year contract, journalist Fabrizio Romano reports on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
According to the source, the Spaniards are currently preparing documents to complete the transfer of the England international.
Earlier, media outlets reported that Alexander-Arnold would join Real Madrid as a free agent during the summer transfer window. The Liverpool youth player's contract with the English club expires on June 30, 2025. Today, on May 5, the footballer officially announced his departure from the Premier League team.
Another strategy for Real Madrid is to have the English defender join the team before the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, which will take place in the United States from June 15 to July 13 this year.
