Renowned journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano has shared information about the situation surrounding Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti, amid reports that the Brazilian Football Confederation has offered the Italian coach the chance to coach the national team again.
It was previously reported that Brazil had already contacted Ancelotti and made him a verbal offer to lead the five-time champions ahead of the 2026 World Cup. The specialist himself did not reject the offer.
The Brazilian national team had previously considered the Italian coach as a potential coach before the appointment of Dorival Júnior. However, Ancelotti decided to remain at Real Madrid, rejecting the national team's offers.
"The Brazilian Football Confederation is seriously considering the possibility of changing the coach, and now Dorival Junior's position is in question. The main candidate for July remains Carlo Ancelotti, as reported in Brazil, but at the moment there are no negotiations, as it also depends on the situation at Real Madrid," Romano X (formerly Twitter) wrote on his page on the social network.
