Fiorentina goalkeeper David de Gea celebrates an own goal by Real Betis striker Antoni in the first leg of their Conference League semi-final. De Gea's team lost 1-2 to their opponents.
"I've trained with Anthony 1,000 times, but he's never scored a goal with his right foot in training. I'm happy for him because he's overcome a difficult period at Manchester United and is now confidently showing his best side," the Spanish goalkeeper was quoted as saying by Movistar.
De Gea and Anthony previously played together at Manchester United. David has been playing for Fiorentina since 2024. Anthony's rights belong to the English club, while he plays on loan at Betis.
