Former Bologna player Igor Kolivanov spoke about the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final between Inter and Barcelona (4:3 in extra time), as a result of which Henrikh Mkhitaryan and his friends advanced to the final of the tournament, winning on aggregate (7:6).
"It was a beautiful game between Inter and Barcelona, as well as the first semi-final. The Catalans were a little short, but Inter looked very good. Barcelona is a playing team, where all the players are fast, agile and technically developed. But the Catalans play very high. Even with the right score, they moved into the opponent's half of the field, which was their downfall. In the last minutes, Barcelona needed to make a decisive move, play with five defenders and retreat," Kolivanov said in an interview with Championat correspondent Vladislav Kruglov.
Inter Milan will face Barcelona in the Champions League final on Sunday, as they face the Italian giants in a two-legged tie.
