"Noah" becomes champion for the first time in history

In the 30th round of the Fastex Premier League, Noah became the champion of Armenia early, defeating last season's champion Pyunik 2:1.  

Team captain and Armenian national team player Hovhannes Hambardzumyan shared his impressions in an interview after the match, noting, "These are very pleasant impressions and I will do everything to be useful to the team." 

The Yerevan club was founded in 2017 and last season became the vice-champion of Armenia and advanced from the first qualifying round of the Conference League to the league stage of the competition.

Today, Hovhannes Hambardzumyan, who is fourth in the current championship, stood out for his efficiency, then Nermin Zolotich increased his team's advantage. Danil Kulikov reduced the score once.

The newly-crowned champion will face Ararat-Armenia in the Armenian Cup final on May 13 at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium.

Let's also add that the other match of the tour, "West-Armenia" and "Ararat-Armenia", did not take place due to the non-appearance of the home team. Earlier, there was information about the liquidation of the club, but according to our information, the team led by Patrick Papyan will have a new owner and will continue its performances.
