Madrid have made a decision regarding Luka Modric

 Real Madrid are ready to extend the contract of 39-year-old Luka Modric until 2026, journalist Nicolo Shiran X reports on his social media page. The Croatian midfielder's current contract is set to expire at the end of this season.

According to the source, Modric also wants to stay at the "Royal" club. The midfielder wants to have playing practice until the 2026 World Cup.

Modric has been playing for Los Blancos since 2012. During that time, he has played 573 games in all competitions, scoring 42 goals and providing 92 assists.
