Former Ajax coach rejects Braga offer

 Francesco Farioli rejected Braga's offer in the final hours, according to reputable inside source Nicolo Schira.

Recall that Francesco left Ajax on May 19. The coach and the club experienced a shocking fiasco in the Eredivisie. After leading PSV by 9 points a few rounds earlier, the Amsterdam team managed to lose the cup, ultimately falling behind PSV Eindhoven by 1 point.

However, Francesco remains one of the most promising coaches in Italy. He is only 36 years old and Ajax is already his fourth team. Francesco started as a consultant and goalkeeping coach. In 2021, he became assistant head coach of Turkish club Alanyaspor, where he later became head coach. After that, there were Karagümrük, Nice and, finally, a stop in the Netherlands.

This season, the Amsterdam team has played 54 games under the coach's leadership, winning 35 of them, drawing 8 and losing 11.
