The Executive Committee of the Football Association of Ukraine has decided to temporarily suspend the membership of the Kherson Regional Football Association Public Union in the Football Association of Ukraine Public Union due to numerous violations of the statutory norms, the dysfunction of the organization, and the expiration of the term of office of the leadership.
The Committee also recommended that the Hopi Federation of Churches (HOAF) bring its activities into line with the requirements of the Union and the Hopi Federation of Churches' statutes and regulatory documents within a three-month period, particularly in terms of preparing and holding an extraordinary conference.
One of the important factors in making this decision was the lack of information on the use of HOAF's non-refundable financial assistance by UAF. If all violations are eliminated, a report on the use of funds is provided, and legal elections of the management team are held, membership and funding will be restored.
Following the Executive Committee meeting, Artyom Stoyanov, First Vice President of the United Nations Federation (UNF), commented on the situation.
“Over the past year and a half, unfortunately, there have been no full-fledged working relations with the leaders of the ARS. There were certain obstacles in communicating with the executive director of the union, and the president did not establish contact at all. The regional assembly of the ARS initiated the creation of a working group, which studied the situation and, after receiving information, advised the executive committee to take measures to suspend membership in the ARS. Thus, this is, first of all, the decision of the regional associations, which have noticed violations in the activities of their partners. The Kherson region is partially occupied by the enemy, and all issues related to this region must be approached with the utmost responsibility.
The first vice-president of the Hopi Aires club, Sergey Khlan, was present at the meeting of the Executive Committee, and we heard his desire to rectify the situation. However, he still does not understand financial activities and strategies for overcoming the crisis. Therefore, we have temporarily suspended their membership. In fact, this means that until there is transparent reporting, we will not be able to provide non-refundable financial assistance, like other regional associations. We believe in the prompt correction of all violations and will contribute to the restoration of the full functioning of the Kherson Regional Football Association.
