All Ukrainian participants in the 2025/26 European Cup tournaments have been determined.
The next European season, 2025-2026, will begin on June 17 with the draws for the first qualifying rounds of the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
Vbet League winner Dinamo of Lviv has qualified for the second qualifying round of the Champions League. There are three rounds before the main round of the Champions League, in case of failure at the start, our champion will advance to the third qualifying round of the Europa League.
One club will represent Ukraine in the Europa League in the first qualifying round. This right was given to the cup winner Shakhtar Donetsk. In case of initial failure in the UEFA Champions League qualifying round, it will go to the second qualifying round of the Conference League. Its first matches are scheduled for July 10 and 17. At the same time, Shakhtar has a fairly good club rating, which could be a ticket to the main tournament of the Europa League. So this question is still open.
The country will have two representatives in the main squad of the Conference League. The second UPL team, represented by “Olexandria”, and the fourth, “Polissian”, will be in the starting lineup from the second qualifying round of the tournament. Thus, our clubs must defeat three opponents to advance to the main stage of the Champions League.
Let us add that 36 clubs will again compete in the main stages of all three European cups.
