Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah shared his thoughts on his future in football and spoke about negotiations with clubs in the Saudi Arabian Professional League in an interview with the Egyptian TV channel ON Sports.

On the possibility of ending his football career

"I will stop playing when I feel it's time to take a step back. But if you ask me, I think I can play until I'm 39 or 40. Then, if I feel like stopping before then, I will stop. I've achieved a lot of goals."

On negotiations with clubs in the Saudi Arabian Professional League

"It was a good opportunity for me, if I hadn't extended my contract with Liverpool, it would have happened. My relationship with the leaders of the Saudi Professional League is very good, we have communicated a lot and the negotiations have been serious."

About the future

"I don't know what will happen, but I'm happy at Liverpool and I'll stay at the club for the next two years. Then I'll see what I do," Salah was quoted as saying by TMW.
