Juventus goalkeeper Mattia Perin has undergone surgery.
"On Monday afternoon, Mattia Perini underwent surgery on the fingers of his right hand, which was necessary after a post-traumatic arthrosis caused by an old subluxation. The operation was performed by Dr. Battiston and Dr. Ferrero, in the presence of the club doctor Dr. Fresca, and was successful. The player will be able to return to the field in approximately eight weeks," a statement on the Juventus official website said.
It is noted that Mattia Perin will miss the Club World Championship, which will be held from June 15 to July 13 in the United States.
