Former Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has no intention of returning to the Scottish giants, despite rumours of a possible appointment, Sky Sports reports.
According to the source, the main role in this decision was played by Gerrard's family, who do not want to return to life in Scotland and feel comfortable in the Middle East.
Recall that earlier in the media there was active information that Gerrard was on the shortlist of candidates for the position of head coach of Rangers. His previous period at the club (2018–2021) was remembered by fans for winning the championship and ending the dominance of Celtic.
