Luis Diaz has said that his representatives are in talks with other clubs. At the same time, the player himself is not against continuing his career at Anfield, Sky Sports reports.
Barcelona appear to have failed in their attempts to sign the 28-year-old, with the English club demanding a hefty fee. Al-Nasr of the Saudi Arabian Professional League are also interested in Luis' services.
Diaz has two years left on his contract with Liverpool. The player himself says he will be happy to see out the remainder of his contract with the Reds. Speaking at the Colombian national team camp, Luis said:
"I am very, very happy at Liverpool. From day one they have done everything to make me feel at home. We are in contact with them now, because we are also talking to other clubs. That is normal, the market is open and we are trying to find the best for us."
"I'm just waiting to see what happens. If Liverpool don't get a good offer, I have two more years on my contract and I'd be happy to stay. Of course, it's up to them, but I also have to make a decision about what's best for us and our future."
Diaz has played a key role in Liverpool's Premier League title bid this season, scoring 13 goals and providing five assists.
The striker joined Anfield from Porto in January 2022 for a fee of up to £49m. He has scored 41 goals in 148 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool, winning the FA Cup, two League Cups and the FA Community Shield.
