Armenia's most titled club returned from the break today. 31-year-old Lucas Villela has started training with the main team. The Brazilian footballer has missed almost a year.
Let us remind you that the following players have left the camp of the 16-time champion of Armenia: Timum Jikia, Taron Voskanyan, Anton Bratkov, Serge Deblen, Agdon Menezes and Nikita Alekseev. Earlier, Artur Grigoryan and Martim Maya left the club.
As the head coach of the "Pomegranate" team, Yeghishe Melikyan, noted during the press conferences, about 60-70 percent of the "Pyunik" football players will be changed.
The eight-time FA Cup winner has won 17, lost 11 and drawn two matches in 30 matches played in the 2024/25 Fastex Premier League season, scoring 59 goals and conceding 37. The 46-year-old manager's men finished the season in fourth place in the standings with 53 points and will participate in the qualifying round of the Conference League (CL).
