Casemiro is one of Brazil's most experienced players and one of the most recognizable names in the country's football. And like no other player, he can get people talking about Carlo Ancelotti. In a press conference, the Manchester United midfielder was full of praise for his new manager, whom he has known well for more than a decade.
"I was lucky to work with him during my two periods at Real Madrid. One of his greatest strengths is his humanity, his relationship with the players, his intimacy. It was never different. He was a very humble person and his human side is one of the most important qualities that everyone emphasizes. What he did for football... we could talk about it for days," Casemiro was quoted as saying by Foot Mercato.
Casemiro joined Real Madrid in 2013 and played for the club until 2022, where he met Carlo twice. He then moved to Manchester United, where he still plays. This season, he played 42 games, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists. Casemiro was first called up to the Brazil national team in 2011, although at that time he was not yet trusted with a place in the first team. In total, the midfielder played 76 games for the Seleção, scoring 7 goals.
