23-year-old forward Gevorg Tarakhchyan and 25-year-old Serbian midfielder Sead Islamovic have joined the ranks of FC Pyunik.
Tarakhchyan is a student of the Banants (currently Urartu) sports school and made his debut in the Urartu main team in May 2020. The young footballer has also played for Sevan, Noah, and CSKA Moscow during his career.
Gevorg Tarakhchyan's previous team was Yerevan's Alashkert, where he has played since February of this year.
Tarakhchyan has played 120 matches in the Armenian Premier League.
He also played for the Armenian U-14, U-15, U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19, and U-21 national teams, and on June 4, 2024, he made his debut for the Armenian national team in a friendly match against the Slovenian national team.
Islamović is a student of the Serbian club Novi Pazar. He has also played for the Serbian clubs Jošaniča and Radnik. In 2023, the Serbian footballer played for the Belarusian club BATE Borisov, participating in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
For the past 1.5 years, Islamovic has been playing for his native team, Novi Pazar, with whom he recently became the bronze medalist of the Serbian championship.
He played a total of 112 matches in the Serbian Super League.
