Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has spoken about the future of midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
"De Bruyne is an exceptional player, he was, he is and, I hope, he will be. What happens with De Bruyne's future depends mainly on him and the club," Guardiola was quoted as saying by City Xtra.
It was previously reported that the City have informed the Belgian footballer that they will not be extending his contract, which expires in the summer of 2026.
The 33-year-old footballer has been playing for Manchester City since 2015.
