Bojan Miovski spoke in an in-depth interview with journalist Filip Misov for Macedonian publication RG about his first season with Girona. The striker admitted to the difficulties he faced in his first season in La Liga, both personally and as a team, and hinted that his future at Montilvi remains uncertain.
"I wasn't ready to play right away, and that affected my physical fitness," he explained, noting that the limited time to integrate with his new teammates affected his game.
Miowski, who arrived in Catalonia as a promising striker, has scored just two goals in 20 league games, but he insists his confidence has not wavered.
The striker explained that the difficult adaptation began even before he arrived in Catalonia: negotiations over a transfer from Aberdeen were delayed, which prevented him from conducting a full pre-season training.

"I've already had some tough times in my career. This only motivates me to keep working."
The striker also complained that the team's playing style has not contributed to the forwards' success this season.
"We played slowly, with almost no passes or clear chances. It's difficult to score in such conditions."
However, he maintains a good relationship with Michel, although he admitted that he was surprised by the lack of playing time after the March international break. Regarding his decision to join Girona, Miowski stressed that he made the choice in favor of the sporting project, not financial gain.
"I chose the club because of its attacking style, but the season was disappointing for everyone. Despite that, we managed to maintain our place in the elite," he noted.
As for the future striker, whose contract runs until 2028, the situation remains uncertain.
"I can't predict what will happen this summer. Girona sees me as a project for the future, but for now everything is open and will depend on the club."
