FC Pyunik continues its recruitment: Portuguese central defender Filipe Almeida has joined the Yerevan club.
The 27-year-old has played exclusively for Portuguese clubs throughout his career. Almeida previously played for the youth teams of Trofense, Rio Ave and Braga, as well as Villaverde, Merelinense and Leira.
Filipe Almeida's previous team was the Portuguese Second Division team Feirense, where he played since July 2023. In the 2024/25 season, he played 31 matches for Feirense in the Portuguese Second Division and was the team's captain.
