The English Football Association has banned Liverpool manager Arne Slott for two matches and ordered him to pay a fine of around €80,000 after the postponed match with Everton in the 15th round of the Premier League (2:2). The organization's official website reports.
It is alleged that the Liverpool coach displayed inappropriate behavior and, after the match, made abusive remarks and showed inappropriate behavior towards the refereeing staff. It is also noted that Arne Slott has admitted his guilt. His assistant, Sipke Hulshof, will receive a similar suspension. Everton and Liverpool have also received fines of €78,000 and €60,000 respectively.
