Turkish midfielder Arda Guler, despite his talent, has not been one of Real Madrid's main players this season. There have been many rumors in the press about a possible departure, but Arda himself has stated that he is currently happy at the club.
"With Xabi Alonso I feel more important because he is constantly in contact with me. I feel good with him because he likes to control the tempo, prefers short passes and sees me as a midfielder - that's better for me," Guler is quoted as saying in the role of Fabrizio Romano.
Recall that Guler moved to Real Madrid in 2023 for 24 million euros. This season, the Turk has participated in 44 matches, most of which came as a substitute. In total, he scored 5 goals and made 9 assists. The Transfermarkt portal values the 20-year-old football player at 45 million euros. His contract with the club is valid until the summer of 2029.
