Barcelona's 33-year-old goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has informed Monaco, who are interested, that he does not want to leave the Catalan club, Marca reports.
According to the source, the German goalkeeper stressed during his contact with the Monegasques that he intends to fight for a place in the main squad of the "blues". However, ter Stegen may change his mind, as he wants to play for the German national team at the 2026 World Cup, for which he needs regular playing practice, which he may not get at Barcelona.
Earlier, media outlets reported that the Blaugrana were no longer counting on the 33-year-old goalkeeper, particularly due to his behavior after recovering from a serious injury.
