Leeds are preparing to make an offer of around €14 million, equivalent to £12 million, for Angers captain Himad Abdelali, Football Insider journalist Pete O'Rourke reports.
Himad is now 25 years old. He plays as an attacking midfielder, but can also play on the right wing of the attack.
He is a graduate of Le Havre and joined Angers in 2022. Since then, he has gradually established himself as one of the team's leaders. This season, he has played 36 matches, scoring 6 goals and providing one assist.
Abdelli is originally from France, but has decided to represent his historical homeland, Algeria, for which he has already played 4 games. The Transfermarkt portal values him at 7 million euros. The player's contract with the French club is scheduled to expire next summer.
