Yerevan's Pyunik has a new addition. Cameroonian striker Marius Noubisi has joined the club, the club's press service reports.
The 28-year-old footballer began his career with his country's Les Astres team, then played for Tunisian Sfaxien, Portuguese Gil Vicente and Finnish Ilves.
In August 2018, Nubisi moved to Belgian club Beerschot, where he played for 3.5 years. In the 2019/20 season, he became the winner of the Belgian 2nd league with Beerschot. In the following two seasons, Marius Nubisi played 37 matches for Beerschot in the Belgian Pro League (the strongest group), scoring 8 goals and providing three assists.
In 2022-24, Nubisi played for Valenciennes in the French Ligue 2, where he scored 2 goals and provided 1 assist in 25 appearances. He then spent half a season with Patro Eindhoven in Belgium.
Marius Nubisi's previous team was Ararat-Armenia, which he joined in August 2024. Last season, he played 31 games for Ararat-Armenia, scoring 20 goals and providing 3 assists. The Cameroonian footballer became the second top scorer in the 2024/25 Fastex Premier League with 18 goals.
Noubisi has also played for the Cameroon U-20 national team.
