Greek full-back Nikolaos Kainourgios has joined the ranks of FC Pyunik, the club's press service reports.
The 26-year-old footballer previously played for the youth teams of Greek clubs AOT Alimos and PAS Ioannina, as well as Aititos Spata and AE Sparta.
In June 2019, Kainourgios moved to Zulte-Waregem, a club playing in the Belgian Pro League (the strongest group), where he played 18 games and scored 2 goals over two seasons.
In October 2021, the Greek footballer continued his performances for one of Romania's most successful teams, Dinamo Bucharest, for which he participated in 7 matches.
Nikolaos Kainourgios' previous team was the Greek club Kallithea, where he played since September 2022. In the 2023/24 season, he became the winner of the Greek Super League 2 with Kallithea. Last season, Kainourgios played 20 games in the Greek Super League for Kallithea and scored 1 goal.
In 2019, Nikolaos Kainourgios was called up to the Greek U-21 national team.
