Manchester City midfielder James McAtey will visit Eintracht Frankfurt this week, Sky Germany reports.
It is reported that he will arrive to familiarize himself with the club's infrastructure and conduct negotiations. A medical examination is not currently scheduled, as the parties have not yet reached an agreement on the transfer.
Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the player, as are a number of other Bundesliga clubs. Eintracht want to see if a transfer is possible, although they have other options for the position.
Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace are among the Premier League clubs considering a move for Makati this summer.
James is a Manchester City player, where he has struggled to find a regular place in the first team. During his time at the club, he was loaned out to Sheffield United twice. It was only last season that he began to play regularly in the City first team.
This season, he has played in 27 matches and scored 7 goals. His contract with Manchester City runs until 2026. According to Transfermarkt, the 22-year-old Englishman's transfer value is estimated at 20 million euros.
