Sporting rejected Arsenal's offer for Dejeres: it is known what did not suit the Portuguese

Arsenal have made a new offer for Victor Deceres, worth €63.5m in fixed fees plus €10m in potential bonuses. However, according to A Bola, Sporting have rejected the offer.

The Swede's agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, waived a 10% fee for his transfer, estimated at around €7m, in order to speed up the deal. The move paved the way for further negotiations and gave hope to the striker, who remains in Stockholm under disciplinary supervision after refusing to return to training.

According to the source, Sporting are not happy with the structure of the bonuses. The club believes that only 3 million out of 10 million can be easily obtained, which, of course, does not suit the Lisbon team. They have no intention of reducing the transfer value of the striker, who has brought so much benefit to the team.

Therefore, if Arsenal still hopes to sign the striker, the club will have to make a new offer. Relations between the clubs are not the best at the moment, but a deal is still possible: Arsenal will have to reconsider some terms.

Recall that Victor moved to Sporting in 2023. Since then, he has scored 97 goals in 102 games and won two championship titles and the Portuguese Cup with the club.
