FC Pyunik has a new addition: Ghanaian striker Eric Okansy has joined the Yerevan club.

The 27-year-old has previously played for Belgian teams Eupen, Kortrijk, Waasland-Beveren and Lierse.

In the Belgian Pro League (the top division), Okansi played 150 matches, scoring 17 goals and providing 10 assists.

Eric O'Kansey's previous team was Ararat-Armenia, where he played since June 2024. Last season, he played 35 games for Ararat-Armenia, scoring 7 goals and providing 9 assists. The Ghanaian footballer became the vice-champion of Armenia and the winner of the Super Cup with Ararat-Armenia in the 2024/25 season.
