The Armenian junior national team has begun its competition at the European Championship, the press service of the Armenian Weightlifting Federation reports.
The 44 kg girls entered the competition at the European Junior Championships in Madrid, the capital of Spain.
Kristine Babayan, a member of the Armenian national team in the 44 kg weight category, lifted 47 kg and 51 kg in the snatch. In the clean and jerk, she lifted 57 kg and 62 kg. With a combined result of 113 kg, Kristine Babayan took sixth place.
