Newcastle have found a replacement for Liverpool's Isak

Newcastle United are interested in signing RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Shesko if striker Alexander Isak leaves the club, Sky Sports reports.

Earlier, information appeared that Liverpool was the only team seriously interested in the Swedish national team player.

According to the source, the “Crows” have studied the terms of a possible transfer deal for the Slovenian player. It is emphasized that this week Sesko rejected an offer from the Saudi Arabian club. At the same time, Newcastle do not want to sell Isak and value him at 150 million pounds sterling (172.5 million euros).

The RB Leipzig striker played 45 games in all competitions last season, scoring 21 goals and providing six assists. The player's current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2029. According to information provided by the Transfermarkt portal, the player's market value is 70 million euros.
