Barcelona president Joan Laporta, when asked about Real Madrid's potential influence on the La Liga leaders, stressed that the Blaugrana do not use their club television in the same way as the capital club.
"We are always alert to any situation, like all clubs. One thing is certain: we do not use our audiovisual platform to spread messages that are too confusing for people," Laporta was quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo.
It should be recalled that last season, before the Spanish Cup final, the club's television channel published a video criticizing referee Ricardo De Burgos Bengoechea, stating that Barcelona had won more often than their opponents in the matches he had officiated. In addition, Real Madrid television showed several alleged refereeing errors in matches involving the Whites.
