Pyunik started the domestic championship with a victory

In the first round of the Fastex Premier League, Yerevan's Pyunik defeated Alashkert at home.

The score was opened by 20-year-old Julien Aimard Batyonno (41). In the 46th minute of the match, the Ivorian scored an own goal, making the score 1:1.

Twelve minutes before the regular time of the match, Danil Kulikov put the "Pomegranates" ahead, which gave victory to the most titled club in Armenia.

After this match, the 16-time champion is in second place in the standings with three points. In the next round, Pyunik will face Shirak, while Alashkert will face Ararat-Armenia in an away game.

In a parallel match, Edgar Torosyan's "Van" played to a goalless draw with "Ararat-Armenia", the Super Cup winner.
