Manchester United have agreed to sell winger Jadon Sancho to Roma for 23 million euros, Football Italia reports, citing Italian media.
According to the source, despite the willingness of the Mancunians to sell the player, Sancho himself did not agree to the terms of the personal contract offered by Roma, as he does not want to lose a significant part of his salary.
It is emphasized that the 25-year-old winger's salary is 15 million euros per season. The Italian club is not ready to pay such a sum. Wolves offer Sancho a five-year contract, distributing the specified amount over the entire term of the employment contract.
Sancho has been a Red Devils player since the summer of 2021. During this time, the striker has participated in 83 matches in all competitions, in which he scored 12 goals and made six assists. The player's current employment contract with the club is scheduled until the summer of 2026. According to information provided on the Transfermarkt portal, the player's market value is 28 million euros.
