Manchester United sporting director Jason Wilcox has said the club's management needs time to resolve issues. On Saturday, September 20, the Mancunians defeated Chelsea 2-1 at home in the fifth round of the English Premier League.
“I just pray that we have the opportunity to turn things around. It will take time – it’s not a quick fix, especially now with the [profitability and sustainability] regulations. We had to change the team. We made some really good signings this summer. We have to try to bring back the culture and respect of United. Whether you work for the club or play for the team, you feel like you are part of something special,” Wilcox was quoted as saying by The Athletic.
Manchester United have seven points after five games in the English Premier League this season and are in 10th place in the standings.
