"Alashkert" overtook the reigning champion

As part of the 21st round of the Fastex Premier League, Alashkert hosted Ararat. The last match between the teams ended in a victory for Vahe Gevorgyan's men (3:2). That match took place as part of the 16th round.

The match opened at the end of the first half thanks to a goal (1:0) by Robert Hakobyan, who played 17 matches for Ararat in the 2021/22 season and scored one goal. Hakobyan opened the scoring from a pass by Karen Nalbandyan, but Olavale Farayola also participated in this attack.

In the 72nd minute of the match, Farajola again easily outpaced his opponent, passing the ball to Caio Henrique, who doubled his team's lead (2:0).

Thus, Alashkert celebrates its second consecutive victory, earning 39 points, overtaking the current champion/cupholder, Noah, and occupying fourth place in the Fastex Premier League standings, while Ararat, suffering its fifth defeat, ends the championship with six points.
