Guardiola: "There is never sunshine in Manchester."

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola joked when asked by a reporter why the Citizens had improved so far this season. City's last Premier League defeat was in mid-January, when they lost 2-0 to Manchester United.

"The sun. No, no, I'm kidding. There's never any sun in Manchester. If the sun had shone in November, we would have been Premier League champions in January. Honestly, it's all about the sun. It lifts my spirits," Guardiola was quoted as saying by Fabrizio Romano on social media X.

Manchester City are currently second in the Premier League table, six points behind leaders Arsenal. However, they have a game in hand.
