Everton extend contract of former Manchester United player

Everton have announced the extension of the contract of 33-year-old central defender Michael Keane. The Toffees' press service announced this on the team's official website. The player's new contract is scheduled until the summer of 2027.

Keane's previous contract with Everton expired at the end of the current season. The defender has been with Liverpool since the summer of 2017. Therefore, the 2026/27 season will be his 10th with the English Premier League club.

Michael Keane is a product of Manchester United's youth system. He moved to Everton from Burnley. The transfer fee, according to media reports, was 28.5 million euros.
