German club Bayer Leverkusen is interested in hiring Austrian coach Oliver Glasner as their head coach, journalist Nicolo Schira reported on social media. "Bayer has approached Oliver Glasner for the position of coach," Schira wrote.
It was previously announced that 51-year-old Glasner would leave English side Crystal Palace at the end of the season. With the club, he won the FA Cup (2024/25), the FA Community Shield (2025) and the Conference League (2025/26).
At the end of the 2025/26 season, Bayer Leverkusen finished sixth in the German Bundesliga standings. The team has 59 points from 34 games and will participate in the Europa League.
