On May 18, the opening ceremony of the Academy of the current champion/cupholder and super cup holder of Armenia, "Noah" FC, was held, which was attended by the club's management and high-ranking officials.
The foundation of the “Winning Birds” Academy is to educate future football players. The president of the Yerevan club, Vardges Vardanyan, noted in his speech: “As the “Noah” club, this is the beginning of a new dream for us.”
The opening ceremony of the new training base of "Noah" FC. The event was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan, Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Zhanna Andreasyan, other members of the Government, high-ranking officials, representatives of the football community. World football legend Luis Figo was also present.
Accompanied by the club's owner, Vardges Vardanyan, the guests toured the newly built academy and got acquainted with the infrastructure conditions created according to the highest international standards.
The building includes state-of-the-art locker rooms equipped with several types of rehabilitation rooms, areas equipped with the latest medical and massage equipment, a state-of-the-art spacious gym, hotel rooms for meetings, a library, a cafeteria for the first team staff, conference rooms, offices, and several entertainment rooms equipped with table tennis equipment and computer games.
Let us recall that in September last year, the Government approved the investment program for the development of the infrastructure of the Vagharshapat stadium and football academy, presented by the "Noa" football club.
