The Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), in collaboration with the well-known Italian technical sponsor Macron, has officially presented the new home and away jerseys of the Armenian national team.
According to the press service of the Armenian Football Federation, the design of the new uniform was inspired by the unique elements of Armenian ornamentation. The home jersey features bird-like patterns, while the design of the away version is based on the ornaments found on the edges of ancient scrolls. These centuries-old cultural elements will now form part of the new image of the national team.
It is noteworthy that the symbolic video clip of the presentation of the new jerseys was filmed at the Mesrop Mashtots Scientific Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, the Matenadaran. The FFA expressed special gratitude to the Matenadaran for supporting the filming process.
The federation will announce the official start date for the new jerseys in the near future.
As a reminder, the Armenian national team will face Latvia at home on September 25 and Montenegro three days later in the UEFA Nations League. Both matches will be held at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan and will kick off at 8:00 PM.
