Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has commented on Real Madrid's statement about their failed attempt to sign Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez for €150 million.
"Have Real Madrid made an official offer? Julian Alvarez is not for sale. We don't want to sell him," Cerezo was quoted as saying by journalist Fabrizio Romano, referring to El Chiringuito.
The Royal Club stated in a statement: "After studying and evaluating the offer made within the framework of the good relations between the two clubs, Atletico Madrid thanked them for it and rejected it, citing the size of the player's release clause."
