Armenian Premier League: Ararat-Armenia kicks off domestic championship with victory

In the opening round of the Armenian Premier League, the champion of Armenia, Ararat-Armenia, won an away game against Gandzasar of Kapan.

"The goals for the black and white team were scored by Arayik Eloyan, Junior Bueno and Alikin Ndour. At the beginning of the match, Kapan defender Shunto Kanda scored an own goal.

In the first half, the Kapan team managed to reduce the score difference, the home team's goal scorers were: Dean Titkov, Artyom Avanesyan (11m), who moved to Gandzasar from Yerevan's Noah before the start of the current season, and Joao Adrianu.

Let us remind you that the team led by Manuel Tulipa will face the Slovenian “Celje” in the third qualifying round of the Champions League. The match will take place on August 4 at the Vazgen Sargsyan “Republican” Stadium in Yerevan and will start at 20:00 Yerevan time.

Today, the CSKA-Shirak match also took place. The Gyumri team had an advantage, but failed to convert it into a goal, and the match ended in a goalless draw.
