Mbappe: "We will be determined as always"

Real Madrid and France forward Kylian Mbappe has responded to the question of what would happen if France played Argentina in the 2026 World Cup. Four years ago, Argentina beat France in the 2022 World Cup final. Mbappe scored a hat-trick in that match, but Argentina beat France in a penalty shootout.

"We will be determined, as always, and strive for victory," Mbappe was quoted as saying by renowned journalist and insider analyst Fabrizio Romano on the X social network.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19. Forty-eight teams will participate in the tournament, divided into 12 groups of four teams.
