The reigning Armenian Cup champion, Noah, played for a place in the play-off round against the Swiss club Sion in the second leg of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.
In the second round of qualifying, Noah overcame the Moldovan Zimbru, and Sion overcame the Belarusian BATE.
At the start of the match, the Yerevan team looked good: after Gor Manvelyan's header, the ball did not enter the opponent's goal.
After David Sualehe's long-range shot, the goalkeeper cleared the ball for a corner, after which "Noah" earned a penalty kick, which was unerringly converted by Helder Ferreira (1:0), repeating the scenario of the first match of the confrontation, where the "Hawks" opened the score again with a penalty kick, from which the 29-year-old Portuguese did not miss.
"Noah" is undefeated in 24 official games, the Yerevan team suffered their last defeat in February 2025.
In the 54th minute of the match, Sion restored the score of the game and the confrontation thanks to Winsley Botelli, the home team built on their success in the 63rd minute of the match, Batata pushed his team ahead in the overall confrontation.
Thus, the Armenian Cup winner completed his European journey.
