"Hayk" and "Olympia" have been eliminated from the cup competition

The Competitions Department of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) has canceled the match between "Hayk" and "Olympia" scheduled for August 24 in the preliminary round of the Armenian Cup.

The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee had earlier expelled Hayk from the Armenian First Division Championship and deprived the team of the right to participate in all tournaments held under the auspices of the Armenian Football Federation (AFF) for the 2026/27 season. Hayk was also deprived of the opportunity to play in the First Division Championship next season. 

The decision was made due to "the non-appearance of the "Hayk" team in two matches for an unacceptable reason / Appendix 1 A, point 7, Article 40, point 4". 

Olympia will continue its competition in the Armenian Cup from the 1/8 finals.
