Real Madrid have released a statement on their official website regarding the health of midfielder Federico Valverde. Earlier, media reported that the Uruguayan footballer was taken to hospital this morning after an altercation with teammate Aurelien Chuamen in the team's dressing room.
"Based on the results of the medical examinations carried out today, our player Fede Valverde has been diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury."
"Valverde is at home in good condition and will be out for 10-14 days, as indicated in the medical records for this diagnosis," Los Blancos said in a statement. He will miss the La Liga match against Barcelona on May 10.
